MESA -- The Chicago Cubs today optioned right-handed pitcher Dillon Maples and outfielder Mark Zagunis to Triple-A Iowa. In addition, right-handed pitcher Justin Grimm has been granted his release. Chicago's spring roster now stands at 37 players.
