Astros and Aramark to host 2018 Ballpark Tasting event March 23

On Friday, March 23, the Astros and Aramark, the exclusive food and beverage provider at Minute Maid Park, will unveil some of the new concessions highlights fans can enjoy at the ballpark this season at the 2018 Ballpark Tasting event.

HOUSTON, Texas -- On Friday, March 23, the Astros and Aramark, the exclusive food and beverage provider at Minute Maid Park, will unveil some of the new concessions highlights fans can enjoy at the ballpark this season at the 2018 Ballpark Tasting event.
Friday's event will take place in the Diamond Club at Minute Maid Park from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Media can park in Lot A, with entrances on Hamilton St. and St. Emanuel St. All media should utilize the First Base Entrance, located in the Diamond Lot near the intersection of Preston and Hamilton. Media wishing to attend Friday's event should RSVP with Gene Dias at [email protected] and have valid media ID to present to security upon entrance.
Media are invited to sample new items and will have interview opportunities with Aramark Executive Chef Dominic Soucie. Chef Danny Trace of Osso & Kristallaand DAT Creole will also be available to media. This season, the Astros and Aramark have partnered with Chef Trace to offer select, signature menu items from these popular Houston restaurants at the ballpark. Additionally, Jackson Street BBQ has joined this year's robust lineup of culinary offerings.
