Cubs agree to terms with 24 players on 2012 contracts

MESA - The Chicago Cubs have agreed to 2012 contract terms with all 24 players on their 40-man roster with zero-to-three years of major league service.  Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

The following players have agreed to 2012 contract terms:

Right-handed pitchers Alberto Cabrera, Lendy Castillo, Casey Coleman, Rafael Dolis, Marcos Mateo, Jeff Samardzija and Casey Weathers.

Left-handed pitchers Jeff Beliveau, John Gaub, Scott Maine, James Russell and Travis Wood.

Catchers Welington Castillo and Steve Clevenger.

Infielders Darwin Barney, Adrian Cardenas, Starlin Castro, Bryan LaHair, Junior Lake, Anthony Rizzo and Josh Vitters.

Outfielders Tony Campana, Dave Sappelt and Matt Szczur
