Angels host Boston and San Francisco in six-game homestand

The Angels return for their second homestand after completing a road trip to Texas and Kansas City. The homestand starts Tuesday at 7:07 p.m. vs. the Red Sox (Tuesday, April 17 - Thursday, April 19). Following the three game series, the homestand will conclude with the Giants (Friday, April 20 - Sunday, April 22). Below is a look at the notable events and ceremonies taking place at Angel Stadium during the homestand:
TICKET OFFER
• In recognition of Shohei Ohtani winning the American League Player of the Week (April 2-8), the Angels present a unique ticket offer for fans. Fans can use the code 'SHOHEI' to purchase $17 tickets for the three games against Boston (April 17-19).
ANGELS 5K & FUN RUN
• On Saturday, April 21, the Angels will host their eighth annual Angels Baseball Foundation 5k and Fun Run presented by St. Joseph Hospital, St. Jude Medical Center and Mission Hospital. Race activities will begin at 8 a.m. at Angel Stadium and include a 'Bubble Detour', health and fitness expo and a 'Kid Zone'. The first 5,000 registered runners will receive a commemorative race shirt, finisher medal and two ticket vouchers redeemable online for select games of the 2018 season.
FIRST PITCH
• On Thursday, April 19, a representative from Old Dominion, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch in honor of their partnership with the MLB.
• Mike Regus, an alum Cal Poly Pomona pitcher who led the team to a 1976 National Championship, will throw out the first pitch prior to Saturday's (April 21) game.
• On Sunday, April 22, Luke Boucher, from District 68 Little League, will throw out first pitch in honor the first Little League Day at Angel Stadium this season.
LITTLE LEAGUE DAY
• Sunday, April 22, will mark the first Little League Day hosted by the Angels in 2018. Little leaguers from Garden Grove, Anaheim, Stanton, Rancho Santa Margarita, Ladera Ranch, San Juan Capistrano and Mission Viejo areas will be in attendance. Players from each league will march in a parade on the field's warning track prior to game.
• In addition, a select group of Little Leaguers from District 68 and District 46 will take the field with position players and get an autograph prior to first pitch.
COLLEGE NIGHTS
• On Saturday, April 21, the Angels host Cal Poly Pomona night. Festivities include a tailgate near Gate 5 and group hat redemptions. These unique Angel hats will also feature logos from Cal Poly Pomona.
CEREMONIES
• On Friday, April 20, the Angels will host Olive Crest in a pre-game ceremony in honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Olive Crest is dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse and teaching prevention in the community.
• Prior to the first pitch of Saturday's game, the Angels will host 'Kids Take the Field,' where seven children of season seat holders will take the field with players.
• Fans in attendance of Saturday night's game vs. the Giants will be treated to a postgame fireworks show presented by Wells Fargo.
GIVEAWAYS (while supplies last)
• Upon entrance to the game on Tuesday, April 17th, fans will receive an Angels Argyle Blanket courtesy of Thermador.
• Fans in attendance on Friday, April 20, will receive an Angels Corduroy Hat presented by Farmer John.
