A's reinstate Piscotty from bereavement list; Option Graveman to Nashville

The Oakland A's reinstated outfielder Stephen Piscotty from the bereavement list and optioned right-handed pitcher Kendall Graveman to Triple-A Nashville, the club announced today.

The Oakland A's reinstated outfielder Stephen Piscotty from the bereavement list and optioned right-handed pitcher Kendall Graveman to Triple-A Nashville, the club announced today.
Piscotty was batting .248 with two home runs and 13 RBI in 34 games when he was placed on the bereavement list on Friday. He is hitting .125 in seven games in May after batting .294 in 24 games in April. Piscotty has started 34 games, all in right field.
Graveman was recalled from Triple-A Nashville last Friday for his second stint with the A's this year. He started and won that night at New York after allowing four runs, one earned, in six innings. Graveman was on the A's Opening Day roster and went 0-5 with an 8.89 ERA in six starts before he was optioned to Nashville on April 26. He is 1-5 with a 7.60 ERA in seven starts overall for Oakland.
