The Giants made the following roster moves:
RHP Jeff Samardzija placed on the 10-day disabled list with right shoulder tightness.
RHP Tyler Beede (#38) has been recalled from triple-A Sacramento and will be active for Wednesday's game at Colorado.
·        Beede was recalled prior to Wednesday's game...marks his second recall of the season.
·        Made two starts with San Francisco in April and posted a 0-1 record with an 8.22 ERA (7er, 7.2ip) in two starts.
·        Made his Major League debut April 10 versus Arizona and did not factor into the decision, allowing two runs on three hits in 4.0 innings.
·        Has appeared in eight games (seven starts) for triple-A Sacramento, going 2-5 with a 6.23 ERA (27er, 39.0ip), 38 strikeouts and 30 walks.
·        Last pitched on May 26 vs. ABQ (W, 4.0ip, 2h, 0r, 3bb, 4so). 
·        Was drafted by San Francisco in the first round (14th overall) of the 2014 First-Year Player Draft...entered the season ranked as the third-best prospect in the Giants' organization according to Baseball America.
