Mets roster moves

The New York Mets today announced that the club has placed RHP Jeurys Familia on the 10-Day Disabled List, retroactive to June 7, with a sore right shoulder and recalled RHP Jacob Rhame from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League. Rhame will wear #35 and will be available for tonight's game.

Yoenis Céspedes will play a minor league rehabilitation game tonight for Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League at Trenton. In addition, LHP Buddy Baumann and infielder Phillip Evans cleared waivers and will be assigned to Las Vegas (AAA).
 
Rhame, 25, is 0-1 with one save and a 6.35 ERA (eight earned runs/11.1 innings) in 11 games with New York this year. He made his major league debut last season after he was acquired from the Dodgers in exchange for Curtis Granderson on August 20.
 
Rhame was 0-1 with five saves and a 5.02 ERA (eight earned runs/14.1 innings) in 11 games with the 51s this year.
 
Familia was 2-3 with 14 saves and a 2.48 ERA (eight earned runs/29.0 innings) in 28 games with the Mets this season.
