Twins recall Jake Cave from Triple-A Rochester

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled outfielder Jake Cave from Triple-A Rochester.

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled outfielder Jake Cave from Triple-A Rochester. Cave, who played in three games for the Twins in mid-May, was hitting .280 (52-for-186) with eight doubles, one triple, five home runs and 25 RBI for the Red Wings.
To make room on the 25-man roster, the Twins have optioned right-handed pitcher Tyler Duffey to Triple-A Rochester. Duffey, who was recalled recently, appeared in four games for the Twins and pitched 6.0 scoreless innings with three hits allowed, no walks and four strikeouts.
