The Arizona Diamondbacks placed C Jeff Mathis (@JMathSix) on the Paternity Leave List and recalled INF Christian Walker (@CWALK328) from Triple-A Reno.
 
Mathis, 35, has appeared in 23 games for the D-backs. His 3.17 catchers ERA is fifth in the NL (min. 165.0 innings).
