The Kansas City Royals tonight announced that the club has signed 24 of the 43 selections from last week's three-day Major League Draft. All 24 new members of the organization will report immediately to mini-camp in Surprise, AZ, where they will work out prior to receiving assignments for the remainder of the 2018 minor league season.
The signees include two of the five players taken on the first day of the draft, the second compensation pick (34^th overall), left-handed pitcher Daniel Lynch, out of the University of Virginia; second round selection (58^th overall), right-handed pitcher Jonathan Bowlan from Memphis. The Royals also signed their third round pick (94^th overall), outfielder Kyle Isbel from the University of Nevada/Las Vegas.
