The Kansas City Royals will host the Cincinnati Reds (June 12-13), Houston Astros (June 15-17) and Texas Rangers (June 18-20).

The Kansas City Royals will host the Cincinnati Reds (June 12-13), Houston Astros (June 15-17) and Texas Rangers (June 18-20). Diamond of Dreams, the charity's annual on-field gala will take place on this week's off day on June 14. The Club will hold various community programs throughout the homestand, including Dream Factory (June 13 and June 20), KCP&L VIP Kids (June 15) and the PLAY Clinic (June 19).

Tuesday, June 12 -- Cincinnati Reds vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.
·  50/50 Raffle presented by Edelman & Thompson -- A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the 1Million Project Foundation to help a million high school students who do not have reliable Internet access at home reach their full potential by giving them mobile devices and free high-speed Internet access.
 
Wednesday, June 13 -- Cincinnati Reds vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.
·  Dream Factory -- Throughout the season, the Royals grant the wishes of Dream Factory children. These youngsters, who face life-altering challenges, will meet Royals players, watch batting practice from the dugout and enjoy the game and refreshments. Their Royals experience appears on the KMBC-TV (Channel 9) 10 p.m. newscast.
·  KCMO RBI Night presented by Price Chopper -- The Royals will host more than 800 participants of the Kansas City, Mo., Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities program. The young baseball and softball players will join their teammates to enjoy food and the game courtesy of the Royals and Price Chopper. Royals Charities will present a check to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City in conjunction with the night. Royals Charities is the presenting sponsor of the KCMO RBI program through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City.
Thursday, June 14 -- Off Day
·  Diamond of Dreams -- Royals Charities hosts its biggest fundraiser of the year, Diamond of Dreams, on the field at Kauffman Stadium. The annual event features appearances from current and former Royals, a fabulous menu from local restaurants, an exclusive silent auction, a live performance by recording artist Rachel Platten, made possible by 99.7 The Point, and a spectacular fireworks show. Diamond of Dreams proceeds will benefit the Fisher House, which will be built on the Kansas City VA Medical Center's property. Silent auction items are available until 9:30 p.m. at www.diamond18.gesture.com. Fans can bid on items whether or not they are at the event.
 
Friday, June 15 -- Houston Astros vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.
·  KCP&L VIP Kids -- The Royals and KCP&L will host foster care children and their families to select games throughout the season. Each child from Drumm Farm Center for Children will receive complimentary tickets, a special t-shirt and a free meal courtesy of ARAMARK and Papa John's Pizza. The special guests will also participate in a meet-and-greet with a Royals player in the Royals Interview Room at approx. 5:30 p.m.
 
Saturday, June 16 -- Houston Astros vs. Royals, 6:15 p.m.
·  Kennedys to host Group from City Union Mission Men's Center -- Each Saturday, pitcher Ian Kennedy and his wife, Allison, host a group from the Kansas City area in a fully-catered Dugout Suite. This day, guests from the City Union Mission Men's Center will meet Kennedy prior to the game and receive a special gift from the family.  
 
Sunday, June 17 -- Houston Astros vs. Royals, 1:15 p.m.
·  Father's Day Celebrations -- The Royals are joining Major League Baseball to "Keep Dad in The Game" by dedicating Father's Day to the fight against prostate cancer. Since 1996, MLB, its Clubs and players have helped the Prostate Cancer Foundation raise more than $45 million to help accelerate scientific breakthroughs and save lives. Each home run hit since June 1 up to and including Father's Day will raise money to fight prostate cancer. The Royals will wear specially-designed caps, jerseys and socks to help raise awareness. Commemorative base jewels and line-up cards will also be used during the game. Fans can visit www.HomeRunChallenge.org to pledge a donation for every home run hit during the 2018 season. 
 
Monday, June 18 -- Texas Rangers vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.
·  "C" You at The K presented by Darol Rodrock Foundation -- Royals General Manager Dayton Moore, together with the "C" You in the Major Leagues Foundation (CYITML) and the Royals, will host area groups to join him at select games this season. The preselected special guests will watch batting practice, enjoy dinner with Moore and watch the Royals game. The CYITML Foundation started in January 2014 to support youth baseball, education, faith-based organizations and events and families in crisis throughout the greater Kansas City area and beyond.
·  Greatest Save Teen PSA Winners Honored -- Prior to the game, students from Rockhurst High School, winners of The Greatest Save Teen PSA (public service announcement) Contest in the Kansas City area, will be recognized on the field. The Greatest Save Teen PSA Program is a peer-to peer crime prevention program of the KinderVision Foundation that helps high school students raise awareness and reduce teen victimization.
 
Tuesday, June 19 -- Texas Rangers vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.
·  PLAY Clinic -- The Royals team up with the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS) and Sun Life Financial to host a free PLAY (Promoting a Lifetime of Activity for Youth) clinic at The K from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Head athletic trainer Nick Kenney and select players are scheduled to join members of the Royals sports medicine staff to lead 100 pre-selected youth from the Kansas City, Missouri Reviving Baseball in the Inner Cities (RBI) program, Police Athletic League of Kansas City and The National Down Syndrome Society in exercises to promote health and wellness. Additional support provided by the Taylor Hooton Foundation, the Henry Schein Cares Foundation & the Ruderman Family Foundation.
·  50/50 Raffle presented by Edelman & Thompson -- A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Children's Emergency Fund at the Jackson County Family Court.
·  2018 Royals Charities Scholars -- Royals Charities will introduce its five newest scholars during pre-game ceremonies. Every year, five new scholarship recipients are selected through 20/20 Leadership to receive a $10,000 scholarship to a Missouri or Kansas college of their choice. Established with proceeds from the 2012 MLB All-Star Game, 35 Scholars have been named since its inception.

·  Green Team presented by Republic Services -- During select games throughout the season, local organizations and volunteers who sign up to be a part of the Royals Green Team, sponsored by Republic Services, will help collect aluminum and recyclable plastics at the stadium gates as well as throughout multiple innings of the game. ·  Royals Honors presented by Konica Minolta -- The Royals Honors program, presented by Konica Minolta, recognizes more than 5,000 area elementary school children who have worked hard on citizenship, academics, and attendance throughout the school year. These dedicated students will be honored at one of two Royals Honors Day (June 20 and July 24). The Royals and Konica Minolta salute the committed students with complimentary tickets.
