Mariners sign 29 of 40 picks from 2018 MLB Draft

Seattle Mariners Director of Amateur Scouting Scott Hunter announced Tuesday that the club has signed 29 of its 40 picks from the 2018 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

Seattle Mariners Director of Amateur Scouting Scott Hunter announced Tuesday that the club has signed 29 of its 40 picks from the 2018 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
The 29 signings include 7 of the top 10 selections and 25 of the top 30.
All Major League teams have until July 6, 2018 (2:00 p.m. PT) to sign drafted players with remaining college eligibility.
The Mariners selected 21 pitchers, 3 catchers, 11 infielders (6 2B, 4 SS, 1 3B) and 5 outfielders. Seattle selected 33 college players and 7 high school players.
