The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that three Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
New York Mets Minor League pitcher Jaison Paniagua, who is currently on the Club's Dominican Summer League roster, has received a 72-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
Houston Astros Minor League pitcher Yoanys Quiala, who is currently on the roster of the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks of the Texas League, has received an 80-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Drostanolone, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
Texas Rangers Minor League pitcher Yosiel Serrano, who is currently on the roster of the Club's Dominican Summer League roster, has received a 72-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
