A's Recall OF Nick Martini from Triple-A Nashville

The A's have recalled outfielder Nick Martini from Triple-A Nashville while also optioning pitchers Chris Bassitt and Danny Coulombe.

The Oakland A's have made the following roster moves:
•   Nick Martini, OF, recalled from AAA Nashville
•   Chris Bassitt, RHP, optioned to AAA Nashville
•   Danny Coulombe, LHP, optioned to AAA Nashville
Martini, 27 (28 on June 27), was hitting .360 (50-for-139) with 24 runs, 7 doubles, 1 triple, 4 home runs, 23 RBI with a .437 on-base percentage and a .511 slugging mark in his last 34 games with Nashville. This is his second stint with Oakland after being selected from Nashville from June 6-8, appearing in three games before being optioned. On the season, he's hitting .305 (67-for-220) with 38 runs, 11 doubles, 1 triple, 5 home runs, 33 RBI and a .417 on-base percentage in 61 games in AAA.
Bassitt, 29, made three starts with Oakland, going 0-3 with a 3.86 ERA (7 er, 16.1 ip) with 13 strikeouts in four stints in the Majors. In 10 games, including seven starts with AAA Nashville this season, he is 2-3 with a 6.10 ERA (26 er, 38.1 ip) with 40 strikeouts. 
Coulombe, 28, was the 26th man for Oakland in the second game of yesterday's doubleheader. He was 1-1 with a 4.56 ERA (12 er, 23.2 ip) with 26 strikeouts in 26 relief appearances during three stints with Oakland. He has only appeared in two games with AAA Nashville this season.
