The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned outfielder Ryan LaMarre to Triple-A Rochester. LaMarre, who was signed to a minor league contract this offseason, appeared in 43 games for the Twins, hitting .263 (26-for-99) with five doubles, eight RBI and eight walks.
To replace LaMarre on the 25-man roster, the Twins will make a corresponding roster move prior to Tuesday night's game in Chicago.
