The Kansas City Royals will host the Cleveland Indians (July 2-4) and Boston Red Sox (July 6-8). The annual Royals Blood Drive began Sunday and runs through July 10. Royals Charities will also host the Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids (July 3) and Equipment Day (July 6).

KANSAS CITY -- The Kansas City Royals will host the Cleveland Indians (July 2-4) and Boston Red Sox (July 6-8). The annual Royals Blood Drive began Sunday and runs through July 10. Monday, July 2 - Cleveland Indians vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.
• Royals Blood Drive - Throughout this week, fans can donate blood at area Community Blood Center locations in Greater Kansas City, Topeka, Kan., and St. Joseph, Mo. Any fan who registers to donate will receive a pair of tickets to an upcoming Royals game, while supplies last. For more information on the blood drive, visit www.royals.com/blooddrive. The Community Blood Center has declared a blood emergency as supplies have dropped below required minimums, so fans are encouraged to donate. To schedule an appointment, visit www.savealifenow.org.
Tuesday, July 3 - Cleveland Indians vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.
• Clinic with Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids - Royals Charities has partnered with Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids for a fourth year to host a youth clinic for approximately 40 children with special needs. Each child will receive a personalized jersey and take part in a clinic with stations led by current Royals players, coaches and Royals alumni. The event will take place at The Little K at Kauffman Stadium beginning at 1:15 p.m.
• Dream Factory - Throughout the season, the Royals grant the wishes of Dream Factory children. These youngsters, who face life-altering challenges, will meet Royals players, watch batting practice from the dugout and enjoy the game and refreshments. Their Royals experience appears on the KMBC-TV (Channel 9) 10 p.m. newscast.
• Baseball Tomorrow Fund Check Presentation - The Baseball Tomorrow Fund will present a check to the Police Athletic League to support its softball program. (See details on the Royals Equipment Day on Friday.)

• Royals Equipment Day - In support of the ongoing commitment from Major League Baseball, its Clubs and players to increase opportunities for youth participation in baseball and softball, the Royals are teaming up with the Baseball Tomorrow Fund to host Royals Equipment Day. From 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., fans are invited to donate new and used baseball and softball equipment to benefit the Police Athletic League program. Volunteers will be stationed outside the Royals Charities Headquarters and Guest Services on the Plaza Level.
Saturday, July 7 - Boston Red Sox vs. Royals, 6:15 p.m.
• Kennedys to host Group from USO of Missouri - Each Saturday, pitcher Ian Kennedy and his wife, Allison, host a group from the Kansas City area in a fully-catered Dugout Suite. This day, guests from the USO of Missouri will watch batting practice and meet Kennedy prior to the game. The Kennedys also will give each guest a special Royals gift.
• Green Team presented by Republic Services - During select games throughout the season, local organizations and volunteers who sign up to be a part of the Royals Green Team, sponsored by Republic Services, will help collect aluminum and recyclable plastics at the stadium gates as well as throughout multiple innings of the game. • Physioc Book Signing - Royals broadcaster Steve Physioc recently completed and published a novel called "The Walls of Lucca." Physioc will sign books from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Royals Hall of Fame. Books may be purchased during the signing. Proceeds from the sales at this event will be donated to Royals Charities to benefit SAFEHOME, an organization that provides lifesaving resources to victims of domestic violence.
