Twins recall Sanó and Moya from Triple-A Rochester

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled third baseman Miguel Sanó and left-handed pitcher Gabriel Moya from Triple-A Rochester.

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled third baseman Miguel Sanó and left-handed pitcher Gabriel Moya from Triple-A Rochester.
Sanó hit .309 (29-for-94) with three doubles, four home runs, 17 RBI, 19 walks and a .425 on-base percentage in 28 games between Single-A Ft. Myers and Triple-A Rochester since being optioned by Minnesota to Ft. Myers on June 14.
Moya, who appeared in six games for the Twins over two stints earlier this season, recently appeared in six games for the Red Wings, posting a 2.79 ERA (9.2 IP, 3 ER) with three walks and 12 strikeouts. Over those first two stints with Minnesota, the left-hander walked two and struck out 10 in 7.0 innings pitched, while holding opponents to a .214 batting average.
