PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks acquired RHP Brad Ziegler (@BradZiegler) from the Miami Marlins for RHP Tommy Eveld. To make room for Ziegler on the 40-man roster, the D-backs transferred RHP Shelby Miller (right elbow inflammation) to the 60-day disabled list.u5:p
                        
Ziegler, 38, leads all Major League relievers since June 5 (min. 10.0 IP) in ground-ball pct. (82.1) and appearances (28) and is tied for second in ERA (0.64) with the Houston Astros' Tony Sipp, trailing only the New York Yankees' Dellin Betances (0.47). Ziegler also ranks among National League relievers in 2018 in appearances (T-1st, 53), ground-ball pct. (2nd, 74.0), ground ball-to-fly ball ratio (2nd, 6.00) and grounded into double plays (T-2nd, 11). On the season, he is 1-5 with 10 saves, 11 holds, a 3.98 ERA (23 ER in 52.0 IP), .254 opponent average and 37 strikeouts in 53 appearances.u5:p
