August 1st, 2018

Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC) celebrates its tradition of giving back to the Chicagoland community with $25 for 25 -- the third annual 25-hour fundraising campaign. The campaign begins at noon Thursday, August 2, and concludes at 1 p.m. Friday, August 3.

To celebrate CWSC's next 25 years, fans are invited to support the organization's ongoing community outreach with a contribution of $25 or more during the 25-hour campaign. Donors will have the opportunity to win a new prize during each hour of the campaign, with the final hour of the campaign -- from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, August 3 -- designated as a "power hour" with the opportunity to win 25 different prizes. Fans who donate $250 or more will be invited to a private donor recognition event with A.J. Pierzynski. Some of the prizes include:

•   Jerseys autographed by Tim Anderson, Carlton Fisk, Jim Thome and more
•   Bats autographed by José Abreu, Bo Jackson, Eloy Jiménez, Frank Thomas and more
•   Baseballs autographed by Mark Buehrle, Yoán Moncada, Luis Robert, Aaron Rowand, Carlos Rodón, Yolmer Sánchez and more
•   Tickets, fan experiences and more

"The $25 for 25 campaign is a fun, engaging opportunity for fans to add to their Sox memorabilia, while also supporting White Sox Charities' efforts," said Christine O'Reilly, CWSC executive director. "We started this campaign to celebrate 25 years of giving and received wonderful feedback from fans. Now in our third year, the continued support from our fans supports the next 25 years of White Sox Charities."

Fans can participate in the $25 for 25 campaign by visiting whitesox.com/Sox25 or calling 312-674-5358. Donations also will be accepted at the kiosk in Sections 131 at Guaranteed Rate Field during the August 2 game vs. Kansas City. Participants are encouraged to share their experience on social media with the hashtag #Sox25.
