The Minnesota Twins announced that they will place right-handed pitcher Matt Magill on the Paternity List. Magill appeared in 24 games for the Twins this season, going 2-2 with a 3.86 ERA (39.2 IP, 17 ER), eight walks and 39 strikeouts.
Right-handed pitcher Oliver Drake, who was claimed off waivers from Toronto on Friday afternoon, will replace Magill on the 25-man roster. Drake will be looking to make an appearance for his fifth different major league team in 2018 (Milwaukee, Cleveland, Los Angeles-AL, Toronto), which would be a major league record for a single season.
