The Giants made the following roster moves prior to tonight's game:
RHP Pierce Johnson (#58) was recalled from triple-A Sacramento.
• Marks his fourth recall this year.
• Has appeared in 28 games for SF, posting a 5.75 ERA (23er, 36.0) and a .209 opponents average.
• Last 10 outings with SF: 1-1 record, 7.04 ERA (12er, 15.1ip), .214 opponents average, 10 walks, 12 strikeouts.
• Has appeared in 12 games with triple-A, posting a 2.76 ERA (5er, 16.1ip) and going 4-for-4 in save chances.
RHP Derek Law (#64) was recalled from triple-A Sacramento.
• Has appeared in four games for SF this season, allowing nine runs (seven earned) in 9.0 innings of work.
• Threw 2.2-scoreless innings in his last appearance with the Giants on May 9 at PHI.
• Appeared in 28 games with triple-A Sacramento, posting a 3.74 ERA (14er, 33.2ip).
• Has allowed just two earned runs over his last 13 appearances (15.1ip) with the River Cats (1.17 ERA).
IF Kelby Tomlinson was optioned to triple-A Sacramento.
RHP Chris Stratton was optioned to triple-A Sacramento.
