The Chicago White Sox and "Top Chef" Season 15 winner Joe Flamm will hold a special Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC) benefit at Spiaggia on September 10. White Sox Hall of Famers Carlton Fisk and Frank Thomas are scheduled to appear.
Longtime White Sox fan and South Side native Flamm provides White Sox fans and foodies the opportunity to dine with White Sox legends, while also raising money for CWSC. The evening will include a specially prepared five-course dinner with wine pairings. This is an expansion of the partnership that brought a Café Spiaggia pop-up to Guaranteed Rate Field on July 27-29.

"As a born and raised White Sox fan, I am beyond excited to partner with Chicago White Sox Charities on such an incredible event and to give back to a remarkable charity," said Flamm. "To cook alongside White Sox Hall of Famers Carlton Fisk and Frank Thomas is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and the event is sure to be a home run."

"We are big fans of Chef Flamm and thrilled to offer a unique way to bring the Spiaggia and Sox families together to break bread and raise support for a good cause," said Christine O'Reilly, CWSC executive director. "It certainly is going to be an evening to remember with star power from both the culinary world with Chef Flamm as well as our own Hall of Famers. We are so excited to share this incredible experience with fans of Spiaggia and the White Sox."

The event will benefit CWSC and its efforts to support the Greater Chicago Food Depository. A limited number of tickets to the event are now available for purchase for $200 each at spiaggiarestaurant.com.
