Twins recall Astudillo from Triple-R Rochester; Wilson placed on disabled list

The Minnesota Twins announced Friday that they have recalled catcher/infielder Willians Astudillo from Triple-A Rochester. Astudillo, who played in seven games earlier this season for the Twins, was recently hitting .255 (27-for-106) with five doubles, four home runs and 12 RBI since being optioned from Minnesota to Rochester in late-July.

To make room on the 25-man roster, the Twins have placed catcher Bobby Wilson on the 10-day disabled list with a right ankle sprain, an injury he suffered in the field during last night's game vs. Oakland.
