Members of the Texas Rangers will pay a visit to patients at Medical City Children's Hospital on Tuesday, September 4, to donate Starlight Brave Gowns with the Texas Rangers logo.
Infielders Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Ronald Guzman will distribute the gowns to patients and make room visits from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
"We are thankful to the Texas Rangers and Starlight Children's Foundation for the generous gown donations to our pediatric patients," said Chris Mowan, CEO of Medical City Dallas. "This means a lot to our patients who are in and out of the hospital for extended periods of time."
The visit is part of Major League Baseball's Childhood Cancer Awareness Initiative. MLB purchased 200 of the Starlight Brave Gowns per club from the Starlight Children's Foundation for each team to donate in their community.
