Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:

• Gordon Beckham, INF, recalled from AAA Tacoma.
• Casey Lawrence, RHP, recalled from AAA Tacoma.
• Daniel Vogelbach, INF, recalled from AAA Tacoma.

Beckham (#1), Lawrence (#61) and Vogelbach (#20) will be in uniform and available for tonight's (7:10 pm PT) game vs. the Baltimore Orioles at Safeco Field.

Beckham, 31 (turns 32 on Sept. 16), is appearing in his 4th stint with Seattle this season (also: 5/14-31, 7/10-12 and 8/17-19). In 14 games with the Mariners this season, he is batting .222 (8x36) with 1 run, 1 double, 1 RBI, 3 walks and 1 stolen base. In 94 games with AAA Tacoma this season, he hit .302 (108x358) with 64 runs, 24 doubles, 1 triple, 10 home runs, 51 RBI, 57 walks, a .400 on-base percentage and a .458 slugging mark (.858 OPS). He hit safely in 66 of his 94 games with the Rainiers, including 32 multi-hit games.

In parts of 10 Major League seasons with Chicago-AL (2009-14, 2015), Los Angeles-AL (2014), Atlanta (2016), San Francisco (2016) and Seattle (2017-c), he is a career .239 (759x3172) hitter with 174 doubles, 5 triples, 74 home runs and 336 RBI in 978 career games. The native of Atlanta, GA, was a 1st round selection (8th overall) by the Chicago White Sox in the 2008 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Georgia.

Lawrence, 30, is appearing in his 5th stint with Seattle this season (also: Opening Day-4/14, 5/1-12, 7/13-28 and 8/9-13). In 8 relief appearances with the Mariners this season, he has posted an 8.31 ERA (16 ER, 17.1 IP) with 11 strikeouts and 7 walks. He made 19 appearances, including 16 starts, with AAA Tacoma this season, where he went 7-5 with 1 save and a 3.31 ERA (36 ER, 98.0 IP) with 89 strikeouts and 13 walks. He allowed 2 earned runs or fewer in 11 of his 16 starts, including 8 of his last 11 starts.

In parts of 2 Major League seasons with the Blue Jays (2017) and Mariners (2017-c), he is 2-3 with a 6.81 ERA (55 ER, 72.2 IP) with 63 strikeouts and 32 walks in 35 games (2 starts). He was claimed off waivers by the Mariners from Toronto on May 11, 2017. The native of McSherrytown, PA, made his Major League debut with the Blue Jays on April 8, 2017 at Tampa Bay. Lawrence was originally signed by Toronto as a non-drafted free agent on June 15, 2010.

Vogelbach, 25, is appearing in his 5th stint with Seattle this season (also: Opening Day-4/25, 5/22-27, 6/8-14, 7/20-30). In 25 games with the Mariners this season, he is batting .212 (14x66) with 6 runs, 2 doubles, 2 home runs, 7 RBI, 11 walks and a .342 on-base percentage. In 84 games with the Rainiers this season, he hit .290 (86x297) with 54 runs, 16 doubles, 20 home runs, 60 RBI, 77 walks, a .434 on-base percentage and a .545 slugging mark (.979 OPS). He led the Pacific Coast League in on-base percentage, while ranking 2nd in walks, 3rd in OPS, 6th in slugging and T14th in home runs. From July 3 through the end of the triple-A regular season, he hit .320 (41x128) with 19 runs, 6 doubles, 7 home runs, 29 RBI and 26 walks in 34 games with the Rainiers.

Vogelbach made his Major League debut with Seattle in 2016, appearing in 8 games in September. He was acquired from Chicago-NL on July 20, 2016 along with Paul Blackburn (rhp) for Mike Montgomery (lhp) & Jordan Pries (rhp). In parts of 3 seasons with Seattle, he is batting .198 (21x106) with 6 runs scored, 3 doubles, 2 home runs, 9 RBI, 2 HBP and 15 walks in 49 games. Vogelbach was originally selected by Chicago-NL in the 2nd round of 2011 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
