September 4th, 2018

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks and @LosDbacks) will host Hispanic Heritage Day, presented by Bud Light, this Saturday at Chase Field. Hispanic Heritage Day will feature a pregame D-backs Fiesta, presented by APS, and the first 20,000 fans will receive a Ketel Marte Luchador bobblehead, courtesy of Pepsi.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the D-backs Fiesta that features fun giveaways, live music by Grupo Latido, Folklorico dancers, Mariachi performers, interactive games, inflatables, food trucks and the Budweiser Beer Garden Experience, benefitting the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. Located at Fourth St. and Jackson St., the D-backs Fiesta will begin at 2:00 p.m. and is free for fans of all ages. Fans can also check out oversized sugar skulls created by LORE Productions in SOL La Terraza and throughout the D-backs Fiesta, highlighting their upcoming Día de los Muertos Festival in the City of Scottsdale in November. Executives and mascots from la Liga Mexicana del Pacífico will be featured throughout the day at the D-backs Fiesta and during the game.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Day, D-backs players and coaches will wear Los D-backs jerseys for the 11th consecutive season, which will be available for purchase at D-backs Authentics at the end of the season. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of all game-used items will benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. D-backs players will also wear Ponle Acento shirts during batting practice.

During a special pregame ceremony, the D-backs will present the Pete García Hispanic Leadership Award to ASU Senior Vice President and General Counsel José Cárdenas. The award recognizes an individual for their advocacy, leadership and service to the Arizona community.

This Saturday is also Roberto Clemente Day and the D-backs will recognize the team's nominee, Paul Goldschmidt, for his charitable contributions throughout the season prior to the start of the game.

Fans can enjoy piñatas at SOL La Terraza throughout the night and can meet former D-backs catcher Miguel Montero from 4-5 p.m., courtesy of Chevy. SOL La Terraza features a Latin vibe in the Upper Right Field Concourse that includes specialized décor, Latin music and authentic regional food and La Carreta de Lily. Fans can also get Micheladas, a beer cocktail with lime juice, salt and tomato juice. The D-backs Street Team will be on site with a prize wheel and various D-backs souvenirs.

Tickets for Hispanic Heritage Day start at $22 and are available by calling 602.514.8400 or by visiting dbacks.com or losdbacks.com.
