Red Sox Foundation launches online auction

The Red Sox Foundation today launched an online auction featuring 11 unique player, front office, and Fenway Park experiences benefitting the charity's programs and partners.

The Red Sox Foundation today launched an online auction featuring 11 unique player, front office, and Fenway Park experiences benefitting the charity's programs and partners. Starting today on redsox.com/rsfauction, fans can bid on a variety of special opportunities that can all be redeemed in the 2019 season, including fielding lessons from Xander Bogaerts, lunch with Jackie Bradley, Jr., pitching lessons with Rick Porcello, and the chance to play video games with Chris Sale. 
The online auction will run through the remainder of the regular season, ending on Sunday, September 30, at midnight. In addition to the player experiences, other auction items include: 
• Lunch with President and CEO Sam Kennedy and Manager Alex Cora
•  Lunch with Red Sox President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski
•  Lunch with Vice President/Special Assistant to the President of Baseball Operations Tony La Russa
•  The opportunity to throw a ceremonial first pitch before a 2019 regular season home game at Fenway Park   
•  A family portrait at Fenway Park with Red Sox photographer Billie Weiss
•  The opportunity to have your kids announce the starting lineups on NESN 
•  Green Monster seats to a 2019 regular season game with pregame tour, the chance to watch batting practice, and dinner in the Dell/EMC Club
Fans can also bid on special Red Sox Patriots Day jerseys with "Boston" appearing on the front, signed by David Price, Rick Porcello, Brock Holt, Eduardo Nunez, and Blake Swihart. 
Proceeds from the auction will benefit Red Sox Foundation programs (Red Sox Scholars and RBI Program) and partners (The Jimmy Fund, Home Base, The Dimock Center).
