Angels host Texas and Seattle in 7-game homestand

The Angels return for their eleventh homestand after facing the Astros, Rangers and White Sox on the road. The homestand begins Monday at 7:07 p.m. vs. the Rangers (Monday, September 10 - Wednesday, September 12). Following the three game series, the homestand will conclude with the Mariners (Thursday, September 13 - Sunday, September 16).

The Angels return for their eleventh homestand after facing the Astros, Rangers and White Sox on the road. The homestand begins Monday at 7:07 p.m. vs. the Rangers (Monday, September 10 - Wednesday, September 12). Following the three game series, the homestand will conclude with the Mariners (Thursday, September 13 - Sunday, September 16). Below is a look at the notable events and ceremonies taking place at Angel Stadium during the homestand:
DUCKS NIGHT
· The Angels will host friendly neighbors, the Anaheim Ducks, for Ducks Night at Angel Stadium on Friday.
· Current players will partake in batting practice, hit in the cages and throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Friday's contest.
· There will be exclusive Anaheim Duck-themed in-game entertainment shown on the videoboards.
· The Ducks' Power Players will join the Strike Force for festivities throughout the stadium.
· Fans in attendance will receive a Duck Call while supplies last. In addition, there will be an opportunity to set a stadium record for duck calling during the game.
STRIKE OUT SLAVERY
· Strike Out Slavery, an organization dedicated to the fight against modern slavery and human trafficking, will be honored on Saturday. The organization was founded by Albert and Deidre Pujols.
· There will be a pre-game ceremony highlighting the organization's work and dedication.
· Grammy-nominated artist, Nick Jonas, returns for the second year to perform an exclusive post-game concert to raise awareness for the cause.
HAILEY DAWSON
· The Angels will welcome Hailey Dawson to Angel Stadium and invite her to throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Sunday's game.
· Hailey was born with Poland syndrome and without three fingers on her throwing hand. She has been living her dream of throwing out the first pitch using 3D-printed hand at Major League parks across the country. She will hit all 30 parks with her final first pitch this Sunday at Angel Stadium.
· Hailey will be joined by her family, as well as surprise guests on the day of the game.
9/11 REMEMBERANCE
· On Tuesday, the Angels will have a pre-game ceremony remembering the tragic events that occurred on September 11, 2001. There will also be a video from Major League Baseball shown, titled "We Shall Not Forget."
· The Color Guard from the Orange County Fire Department will display the flags of this country during the national anthem.
2018 ROBERTO CLEMENTE AWARD
· Andrew Heaney will be honored in a pre-game ceremony on Monday for being selected as the nominee for the Angels for the 2018 Roberto Clemente Award.
· This award is the "annual recognition of a player who best represents the game of Baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field."
· The League Winner will be selected by a Blue Ribbon Panel, including a Fan Vote, open until September 18th at mlb.com/clemente21.
FIRST PITCHES
· American hip-hop artist, Schoolboy Q, will throw out the first pitch prior to Monday's game.
· Brendan Steele, an American professional golfer, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Thursday.
· Hailey Dawson, with help from her 3D-printed hand, will throw out the first pitch prior to Sunday's game.
CEREMONIES
· We Care Hero will be honored in a pre-game ceremony on Monday.
· CHOC will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony on Thursday.
· Fans will be treated to a post-game fireworks show on Saturday presented by Wells Fargo. Immediately following the fireworks, Nick Jonas will perform an exclusive post-game concert benefitting Strike Out Slavery.
