BOSTON, MA - Boston Red Sox right-handed pitcher Austin Maddox underwent successful surgery yesterday at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles, CA.
Maddox, 27, underwent a right shoulder rotator cuff surgery, performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache. Maddox's recovery time is expected to be approximately 12 months.
