Royals front office volunteering at local organizations Friday

For the third consecutive year, Royals Front Office associates will volunteer on Friday, November 2, at three organizations across the city to commemorate the anniversary of the 2015 World Series Championship.

For the third consecutive year, Royals Front Office associates will volunteer on Friday, November 2, at three organizations across the city to commemorate the anniversary of the 2015 World Series Championship.
From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., more than 40 Royals and Aramark associates will divide into groups to help each organization with designated projects. 
Community Services League    
Event: Royals associates will sort and prepare for the organization's Holiday Shop. CSL provides services to Eastern Jackson County communities in reaching their potential by providing immediate relief to people in need, assessing their situations and providing solutions that lead to economic stability.

Happy Bottoms
Event: Royals associates will help load pre-packed diapers ready for delivery and pack diapers. Happy Bottoms provides low income families support by alleviating a diaper need in Kansas City.

SAFEHOME
Event: Royals associates will volunteer at SAFEHOME sorting toiletry donations, clothing donations, and help cook dinners for the weekend. SAFEHOME provides a healing atmosphere where survivors of domestic violence can gain inner strength, build self-esteem, explore options and establish a life free of violence.
