Selected the contract of 1B BOBBY BRADLEY from the Triple-A Columbus Clippers roster. Selected the contracts of LHP SAM HENTGES and RHP JEAN CARLOS MEJĺA from the Single-A Lynchburg Hillcats roster.

Bradley, 22, hit a combined .224 (108-for-483) with 26 doubles, 5 triples, 27 home runs and 83 RBI in 129 games between AA Akron and AAA Columbus (.308/.466/.774). He led Indians Minor League hitters in homers, RBI and slugging pct. (.466) as his 79 HR and 274 RB since 2016 also lead all Indians farmhands. Over his final 21 games in Columbus, he batted .292 (21-for-72) with 5 2B, 1 3B, 3 HR & 14 RBI to end his age 22 season. The Gulfport, MS native was the club's third round pick (97th overall) in the 2014 First-Year Player Draft and was named his league's MVP in 2014 (Arizona League Indians) and 2016 (A Lynchburg, Carolina League). He enters the 2019 season as the seventh-best prospect in the system according to MLB.com and Baseball America.

Hentges, 22, spent the 2018 season at Single-A Lynchburg, posting a record of 6-6 with a 3.27 ERA in 23 starts (118.1IP, 114H, 43ER, 53BB, 122SO). He finished with the second-lowest ERA (3.27) and third-most strikeouts (122) in the Carolina League and was a Midseason C.L. All-Star. Over his final 12 starts of the season, the Shoreview, MIN native posted an ERA of 2.69 (19ER/63.2IP) and allowed only 4 homers on the campaign. He was the club's fourth round pick in the 2014 draft and enters the 2019 season as the sixth-best prospect in the system according to Baseball America.

Mejίa, 22, pitched nearly the entire season in Single-A Lake County, going 4-8 with a 3.13 ERA in 17 games/15 starts (92.0IP, 84H, 32ER, 20BB, 97SO) after missing the first six weeks of the season with right elbow inflammation. The native of the Dominican Republic was signed by the club as an amateur free agent in November 2013 and owns a five-year professional career ERA of 2.61 (241.1IP, 193H, 70ER, 226SO, .215 avg).

Lockett, 24, spent most of the 2018 season with San Diego's Triple-A El Paso affiliate in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League, posting a mark of 5-9 with a 4.73 ERA in 23 starts (133.1IP, 145H, 70ER, 33BB, 118SO). He made three spot starts and four appearances across three stints with San Diego, posting an ERA of 9.60 (16ER/15.0IP) in his fist taste of Major League action. The Jacksonville, FL native was San Diego's Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2016 (2.96 ERA, 54ER/164.0IP) and was the club's fourth-round selection in the 2012 First-Year Player Draft.

Freeman, 31, spent the 2018 season in the Chicago Cubs system, recording a batting average of .274 (83-for-303) with 15 2B, 2 3B, 6 HR and 38 RBI in 78 games for the Triple-A Iowa Cubs. He finished the campaign on Chicago's Major League roster, appearing in one game at second base on Sept. 28. He is a veteran of 57 Major League games with Arizona, Seattle, Los Angeles-NL and Chicago-NL and began his professional career out of Clemson in 2010 following his 11th round draft selection by the Diamondbacks. He owns a Minor League career batting average of .290 (951-for-3279) while sporting a career on-base pct. of .360.
