Fox Sports North, WCCO Radio & Treasure Island team up to broadcast Twins ST

FOX Sports North, Entercom's News Talk 830 WCCO and the Treasure Island Baseball Network (TIBN) announced Thursday that the 2019 Minnesota Twins Spring Training telecast and radio broadcast schedules. FOX Sports North will telecast 11 games, while Entercom's News Talk 830 WCCO will air 15 contests and the Treasure Island Baseball Network will broadcast 20 games.

FOX Sports North, Entercom's News Talk 830 WCCO and the Treasure Island Baseball Network (TIBN) announced Thursday that the 2019 Minnesota Twins Spring Training telecast and radio broadcast schedules. FOX Sports North will telecast 11 games, while Entercom's News Talk 830 WCCO will air 15 contests and the Treasure Island Baseball Network will broadcast 20 games.  
 
The 20 broadcasts will feature a mixture of play-by-play descriptions and analysis from TIBN radio broadcasters Cory Provus and Dan Gladden, FOX Sports North broadcasters Dick Bremer and Baseball Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven, as well as the Twins play-by-play debut of Marney Gellner. Gellner's three broadcasts on Friday, March 1, Sunday, March 3 and Monday, March 4 will be simulcast on FOX Sports North, News Talk 830 WCCO and TIBN.
Eleven of the Minnesota Twins Spring Training games will appear on TV, beginning with a 12:00 p.m. CT telecast on Friday, March 1 when the Twins face the reigning World Series Champion Boston Red Sox. There will be seven simulcasts featuring a combination of FOX Sports North cameras, graphics and replays, accompanied by analysis and play-by-play from Gladden and Bremer, Gellner or Provus. Additionally, ESPN will nationally broadcast a 12:00 p.m. CT game on Thursday, March 7 when the Twins visit the Red Sox at Jet Blue Park.
Entercom's News Talk 830 WCCO will begin its broadcast schedule at 12:00 p.m. CT on Sunday, February 24 as the Twins close out the opening weekend of the Spring Training slate against the Boston Red Sox. The broadcast on Tuesday, February 26 will feature a special presentation dedicated to community initiatives and baseball/softball across the Upper Midwest hosted by WCCO's own Dave Lee and Chad Hartman. In addition, WCCO's morning show, hosted by Lee, will air live from the 3rd baseline of Hammond Stadium at the CenturyLink Sports Complex from February 25 to March 1, with weekday broadcasts from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. CT including player interviews and features each day from Ft. Myers, Fla. Lee's broadcasts will stream live on wccoradio.com and Radio.com, with additional content available on Facebook and Twitter.
