White Sox announce 2019 Spring Training broadcast schedule

The Chicago White Sox, NBC Sports Chicago, WGN-TV and WGN Radio AM 720 have announced the team's 2019 Spring Training television, radio and webcast schedule.

CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox, NBC Sports Chicago, WGN-TV and WGN Radio AM 720 have announced the team's 2019 Spring Training television, radio and webcast schedule.
The White Sox will have six Cactus League games televised from Arizona (five on NBC Sports Chicago; one on WGN), and 11 additional webcasts on whitesox.com. WGN Radio, the club's flagship radio station, will air 11 games. In addition, NBC Sports Chicago will provide a live stream of its White Sox Spring Training telecasts to authenticated subscribers via the "MyTeams by NBC Sports" app and at NBCSportsChicago.com.
The Sox will present full webcasts of 11 Spring Training games on whitesox.com, which are available free to all fans. The Spring Training webcasts begin Saturday, February 23 at 2:05 p.m. CST when the White Sox open the Cactus League schedule vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers. Russ Langer returns for his ninth spring as the play-by-play voice.
The first televised Spring Training game is on WGN-TV on Friday, March 15 at 3:05 p.m. CDT when the White Sox play host to the Cubs at Camelback Ranch - Glendale. NBC Sports Chicago will televise the first of its five spring games on Saturday, March 16 vs. the Dodgers at 3:05 p.m. CDT.
Jason Benetti and Steve Stone will work all six televised games in their fourth Spring Training together as the White Sox broadcast team. Benetti is set to begin his fourth season with the Sox, while Stone enters his 12th year with the club.
WGN Radio broadcasts the first of its 11 games with the White Sox spring opener on Saturday, February 23 vs. the Dodgers. WGN Radio also will air both White Sox vs. Cubs match ups on Sunday, March 3 at Sloan Park and Friday, March 15 at Camelback Ranch. Ed Farmer and Darrin Jackson return as the on-air tandem. Farmer is entering his 28th season in the radio booth, while Jackson will begin his 20th year as a Sox broadcaster.
