The Chicago White Sox and Goose Island Beer Company announce a new space in right field, which will be called "The Goose Island," set to debut in the 2019 season. The remodeled section will be surrounded by running water fixtures along all four sides, giving the space the "island" in its name. u5:p
"The Goose Island" transforms two outfield seating sections into a new space, featuring a variety of seating options. Rows will include field-level views, group party areas and individual seating as well as a fun, social space in a few standing-room rows near the outfield concourse. All areas of "The Island" will have in-seat service. A total of 326 seats will be available in the section.u5:p
The first few rows of "The Goose Island" will provide a modernized experience for fans with leather cushion seats complete with armrests and cup holders, device charging ports, television screens and shelves for storage. Seats for this area include in-seat service and $20 of loaded value with each ticket to be spent in-park on food, beverages or merchandise from the White Sox. u5:p
As part of the partnership, Goose Island also will receive naming rights to the bar area next to the visiting bullpen, which will be known as the Goose Island Craft Kave, and a walk-up bar accessible from the 100-level outfield concourse. Within the outfield concourse area, a 10-foot Goose Island tap handle statute will be featured overlooking the ballpark. u5:p
Goose Island will continue to receive in-market retail promotions, including a digital activation with White Sox social media during the 2019 season. Goose Island also is a part of the Chicago White Sox Charities corporate partners program.u5:p
