White Sox announce upcoming series activities

WHAT:           Chicago White Sox promotional highlights, giveaways and ceremonial first pitches for the series vs. Toronto.  Tickets are available at whitesox.com, the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office and all Ticketmaster locations.

The game on Tuesday will be televised on Comcast SportsNet, while Comcast SportsNet Plus will broadcast Wednesday’s game.  Thursday’s game will be televised on WCIU-TV.  All three games will air on WSCR-AM 670 (The Score), the White Sox flagship radio station, and 97.5 FM ESPN Deportes, the White Sox Spanish-language radio affiliate.

Specially priced $5 tickets in select Upper Reserved sections of U.S. Cellular Field also are available for all three games.

Ceremonial first pitch by Rear Admiral David Steindl

Rear Admiral David Steindl, Commander of the Naval Service Training Command for the United States Navy, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

Amanda Schnoebelen, White Sox employee from Chicago (Ill.), will perform the National Anthem and O Canada.

Before the game, Rear Admiral David Steindl also will lead a swearing in ceremony on-field for 86 recruits who are enlisting in the United States Navy, and Senior Chief Matthew Brennick will be re-enlisting.

National Anthem and O Canada by Pro Musica Youth Chorus
Ceremonial first pitch by Matt Painter, Men’s Basketball Coach at Purdue University

Matt Painter, Purdue University men’s basketball coach, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

Pro Musica Youth Chorus from Oak Park (Ill.) will perform the National Anthem and O Canada.
