Weekend Highlighted by Father's Day Presented by TD

Blue Jays players get present from WestJet

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have a busy weekend planned at ROGERS CENTRE as highlighted by Father’s Day presented by TD.

Prior to the first of three games against the Philadelphia Phillies this evening at 7:07pm, the Lady Jays kickoff the 27th Annual Lady Jays Food Drive in support of Food Banks Canada.  Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or make a $25 monetary donation to purchase a mystery bag containing an autographed item.  The food drive will continue prior to Saturday’s 1:07 pm game.

Jr. Jays Saturdays presented by Boston Pizza will add to the festive feel of the weekend.  Kids can participate in pregame activities outside Rogers Centre, indoor activities and post-game running of the bases.  The Blue Jays are proud to offer families a great value on Saturdays with kids priced tickets for ages 14 and under.  Complete information on Jr. Jays Saturdays can be found on www.BLUEJAYS.com.

Father’s Day will be special in many ways for the fans as the first 20,000 fans will receive a replica Blue Jays Batting Helmet presented by TD.   The players also will have a little something special to play for as WestJet has offered to fly each player’s father to Toronto for this special day.  Fans are encouraged to leave themselves plenty of time to get to Rogers Centre as large crowds are expected for this weekend series.
