Texas Rangers first #TexasTweetUp to take place on June 30
Special package includes pregame event and ticket to Rangers-A’s game
Arlington, TX - The Texas Rangers and @Rangers have scheduled the first #TexasTweetUp for Saturday, June 30, when the Rangers play the Oakland A’s.
The event will be a great opportunity for all twitter-minded Rangers fans to participate in a special pregame program as well as attend that night’s Texas-Oakland game at 6:15 p.m. at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
Space is limited for #TexasTweetUp and packages can be purchased on-line at texasrangers.com/texastweetup.
All fans who purchase the package will have access to an exclusive pregame #TexasTweetUp event in the Hall of Fame Theater from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Fox Sports Southwest Rangers reporter Emily Jones (@EmilyJonesFSN) will host a roundtable discussion featuring members of the media who cover the team every day. There will be other special guests, including the Voice of Rangers Ballpark Chuck Morgan (@TexPAMan) and a Rangers player to be announced.
Of course, tweeting will be encouraged by all throughout the event!
The #TexasTweetUp package also includes a ticket to the Rangers-A’s game and a special edition #TexasTweetUp-themed shirt. Two seating locations are available: Lexus Club Terrace for $42.00 and Upper Box for $35.00. The price includes both the pregame game and game ticket.
