Giants welcome Dodgers and Reds to town

Homestand features: 2002 Giants players bobbleheads, 2002 Giants team reunion and the Junior Giants Stretch Drive

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. -- The San Francisco Giants return to AT&T Park for a seven-game homestand against the Los Angeles Dodgers, June 25-27 and the Cincinnati Reds, June 28-July 1.

On Monday, June 25, the Giants in partnership with the Rosie the Riveter Trust, will celebrate the annual Professional Women's Networking Night at AT&T Park. Special ticket packages include access to a pre-game networking hour, a panel discussion with notable female executives from the Greater Bay Area and the Giants organization and collector's edition Rosie the Riveter bobblehead. Partial ticket proceeds will benefit the Rosie the Riveter Trust.

Tuesday, June 26, Mayor Ed Lee of San Francisco will be in attendance to make a very special presentation to Matt Cain in honor of his perfect game. In addition, Matt and the Giants will present items from his perfect game to Hall of Fame President, Jeff Idelson. The Giants will also celebrate the 55th Anniversary of the last game played at the Polo Grounds, with New York Giants Night at AT&T Park. Special ticket packages include a miniature replica of the old Polo Grounds stadium that was the team’s New York home for many years. Members of the New York Giants Preservation Society will be recognized in a pregame home plate ceremony.

Also, Tuesday night is Super Tuesday at AT&T Park. All Giants fans are urged to vote for their favorite Giants to push them to the top of the All Star voting rankings.

On Thursday, June 28, the Cincinnati Reds come to the Shores of McCovey Cove for a four-game series. That night marks the beginning of the fourth annual Junior Giants Stretch Drive. Inspired by Willie "Stretch" McCovey, the Stretch Drive is an organization-wide effort dedicated to raising much-needed funds for the more than 16,000 children who participate in a free, non-competitive baseball league, as well as life skills, program in more than 85 underserved communities, through the Giants Community Fund’s flagship program – Junior Giants. Giants fans, vendors, sponsors, players and employees will be asked to donate in any way possible during this four-day fundraiser.

Friday, June 29th, the Giants in partnership with the Gilroy Garlic Festival will host the inaugural Garlic Fest at AT&T Park. The special ticket package includes access to a pregame Garlic Festival in Seals Plaza, and a Giants-edition bobblehead of the Gilroy Garlic Festival mascot, Herbie. Talented chefs from the famous “Gourmet Alley” at the Gilroy Garlic Festival will be making their way to the shores of McCovey Cove to prepare some garlic-inspired creations for the special event ticket holders.

Saturday, June 30, the first 25,000 fans will receive a 2002 Giants Player Bobblehead presented by Chevron ExtraMile. Fans will randomly receive either a J.T. Snow, Jeff Kent, Robb Nen, Barry Bonds or Kirk Rueter bobblehead.

On Sunday, July 1, the Giants will celebrate the 2002 National League Champion Giants squad in a special pre-game ceremony to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of their World Series run. More than 30 members of the 2002 team will reunite participate in the ceremony - including former Giants manager Dusty Baker and coaches and staff: Joe Lefebvre, Juan Lopez, Dave Righetti, Ron Wotus, Barney Nugent and Dave Groeschner. Former players scheduled to participate include: Rich Aurilia, Marvin Bernard, Barry Bonds, Jason Christiansen, Shawon Dunston, Scott Eyre, Pedro Feliz, Ryan Jensen, Jeff Kent, Kenny Lofton, Ramon Martinez, Damon Minor, Bill Mueller, Calvin Murray, Felix Rodriguez, Kirk Rueter, Reggie Sanders, Benito Santiago, Jason Schmidt, J.T. Snow, Jay Witasick, Tim Worrell and Chad Zerbe. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. with gates opening at 11:00 a.m.
