O.A.R. to perform free post-game concert at Turner Field Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012

2012 Summer Concert Series Presented by Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines

ATLANTA – The Atlanta Braves have added another sizzlin’ sensation to take the stage at Turner Field this summer, as part of the Braves Summer Concert Series, presented by Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines. Billed as one of the best live bands on the planet, American rockers O.A.R. will perform a free concert after the Braves vs. Nationals game on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.

Originally a hit college band with songs like “A Crazy Game of Poker,” “City on Down,” and “Night Shift,” O.A.R. has captivated the nation over the past 16 years with their impressive song writing and powerful live performances. Debuting at No. 12 on the Billboard Charts, the band released their 11th studio album, King, in August 2011, making it their highest debut to date. The song “Shattered (Turn the Car Around)” from their 2008 album, All Sides, earned the band its first-ever certified U.S. platinum single and a spot on the performing songwriter's list of the 100 Most Influential Independent Artists of the Past 15 Years. During the 2006 MLB All-Star Home Run Derby, O.A.R. performed hit single "Love and Memories."

In May 2012, O.A.R. released a new single, in partnership with Duracell, in support of Team USA in the 2012 London Summer Olympics. The song, aptly titled "Champions," features Atlanta rapper and fellow Braves Summer Concert series alum, B.o.B.

Fans who want special access and the opportunity to get up-close with O.A.R. can purchase field passes for $20 at braves.com/concerts.

Legendary southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd are scheduled to jam out Turner Field Saturday, Sept. 1 following the matchup against the Philadelphia Phillies. Field passes are available for purchase for $25 at braves.com/concerts. Since 2008, Turner Field has become more than just Atlanta’s top baseball destination – it’s also served as one of its hottest summer concert venues, hosting acts like The All-American Rejects, The Avett Brothers, The Beach Boys, Ludacris, Montgomery Gentry, REO Speedwagon, Styx, Scotty McCreery and many more. The O.A.R. concert is the fourth installment in the Braves Summer Concert Series.

Atlanta Braves game tickets, starting as low as $6, are available at braves.com/tickets, the Braves Ticket Office at Turner Field, the Braves Clubhouse Store at the CNN Center, all PUBLIX Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
