Royals announce T-Shirt Tuesday Design Contest
Fans have opportunity to compete for August 14 T-Shirt Tuesday design
KANSAS CITY, MO – The Kansas City Royals announced today details of the T-Shirt Tuesday Design Contest, which will feature the original artwork of one lucky Royals fan for the August 14 T-Shirt Tuesday giveaway courtesy of Champion Windows.
Fans are encouraged to visit www.royals.com/tshirtdesign to upload their original artwork for consideration. All submissions must be received by Thursday, July 12. The Royals will review all artwork and choose five finalists. Beginning Tuesday, July 17, fans will have the opportunity to vote on the five finalists at www.royals.com/tshirtdesign and decide which design will be featured for the August 14 promotion.
In addition to having their artwork featured on T-Shirt Tuesday, the grand prize winner will also receive four tickets to attend the August 14 game and be recognized as the T-Shirt Tuesday designer of the evening.
Fans should adhere to the following design requirement for their artwork submissions:
- Design must have a Royals theme
- Fans may use up to four colors in the artwork design
- The design can be created only for the front and back of the t-shirt (no sleeve artwork)
- Original artwork only
