Aaron Rowand to serve as White Sox Radio Analyst during New York series

Former Sox Outfielder and 2005 World Series Fan Favorite will Fill-In for Darrin Jackson During Final Two Games of Road Trip

Former Chicago White Sox outfielder Aaron Rowand will serve as a guest radio analyst for final two games of the White Sox series at the New York Yankees, June 30-July 1.  Rowand will replace Darrin Jackson, who will be unavailable for the two games due to family matters.

Rowand spent five seasons with the White Sox and 11 years in Major League Baseball, where he finished with a .273 average, 136 home runs and 536 RBI.  The outfielder was a key part of the 2005 World Series Champion White Sox, compiling a .267 batting average in the postseason with eight runs, six doubles, four walks and a stolen base.

All four games of the series in New York can be heard on WSCR-AM 670 (The Score), the White Sox flagship radio station.  Thursday and Friday’s game begin at 6:05 p.m., while Saturday’s game starts at 12:05 p.m. and the Sunday finale of the series starts at 1:05 p.m.
