D-backs Baseball Academy Camp at Chase Field– July 5-7: The D-backs’ Baseball Academy will host a special youth camp at Chase Field July 5-7 from 8-11 a.m. that will feature a visit from a current D-backs player, behind-the-scenes tour and a special batting practice viewing. MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT: The D-backs will honor all active, reserve and retired military members and their families, as well as D-backs employees who have served, in a special pregame ceremony on the field featuring members from all five branches of the military. Activities include:

-First pitch thrown by a representative from each of the five branches, including Air Force, Coast Guard, Navy, Marines and Army

-Twenty-five families representing each branch of the military will line the bases to be recognized

-Twenty veterans from prior eras will be recognized on the field prior to the game

-The national anthem will be sung by Chief Warrant Officer 2 Mark C. Head, Arizona Army National Guard

-The color guard will include members from each branch of the military

-Nearly 50 people will take their oath of enlistment to each branch of the military on the field prior to the game

-D-backs President & CEO Derrick Hall and Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton will greet military members being recognized on the field

BLUE STAR MOMS: The D-backs and Blue Star Moms will present three military families with the American flag to honor their lost loved ones in a special pregame ceremony on the field prior to the game.

CHASE HOUSE AWARD: Chase will give away three houses to military families throughout the summer and the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will provide items of need. The D-backs will present Purple Heart recipient Michael Proscia with a key to his new house, courtesy of Chase and the D-backs, on the field prior to the game.

TAILGATE GAMES WITH JOHNJAY AND RICH: Join the D-backs along with Johnjay and Rich from 104.7 KISS-FM as they host the Tailgate Games starting at 5 p.m. in the upper level at Chase Field. Compete in old favorites like cornhole, Bimini Rings, ring toss and more for your chance to win prizes like game tickets and autographed memorabilia. Tickets for the special Johnjay & Rich section (Outfield Reserve, section 301) are just $10.47 and can be purchased at www.dbacks.com/johnjayandrich.

“PASTIME FOR PATRIOTS” MYSTERY BALL: The D-backs will host Mystery Ball that will benefit D-backs pitcher Brad Ziegler’s charity “Pastime for Patriots.” Fans can purchase grab bags ($50 each) with a ‘Mystery Ball’ inside of the package signed by an MLB player or potentially a Hall of Famer. Fans can choose from more than 800 grab bags. In addition, fans can purchase raffle tickets to win an autographed Ken Griffey, Jr. jersey. Raffle tickets are $5 each, six for $25 or 15 for $50 and can be purchased at the Mystery Ball table.

SEATS FOR SOLDIERS: The D-backs, Chase and D-backs pitcher Brad Ziegler have teamed up to donate more than 1,200 tickets to military families to enjoy the game. Throughout the season, individuals and businesses can help send military families to select D-backs games (May 27, July 4, Sept. 11) by purchasing lower level tickets that are donated to military service members and their families. Seats for Soldiers packages range from $100-$7,500 and include special incentives based off sponsorship package.

SUBWAY KIDS TAKE THE FIELD: Kids ages 7-15 can enter for the chance to “Take the Field” with D-backs players at every Sunday home game prior to the National Anthem. Entry forms are available at Subway.

CHEVY “PLAY BALL” KID: Phoenix-area Little League teams will be recognized on the field before the game and one lucky team member will get to say “Play Ball” at the start of the game. Fans can register at a local Chevy dealer.

KIDS RUN THE BASES presented by NYS: Kids ages 15 and younger are invited to run the bases after the game and can line up at section 110 immediately following the game.

COLD STONE KIDS SUNDAYS: Each Sunday home game, one winner is selected to deliver the lineup card to the umpires with a D-backs coach before the game and deliver Cold Stone Ice Cream to the D-backs’ broadcast booths. Winners are selected from applications that can be picked up at a local Cold Stone Creamery location.

D-BACKS ELITE PLAYER DEVELOPMENT CAMP-July 2-3: The D-backs’ Baseball Academy will host a special camp for youth ages 13-18 that will focus on taking players to the next level through professional instruction. The two-day camp includes four-hour sessions with specific positional play and video analysis. GOLDSCHMIDT VISIT - July 2: D-backs infielder Paul Goldschmidt will host seven teenagers from the Phoenix Children’s Hospital that are in need of heart transplants. Goldschmidt will meet with the kids during batting practice starting at 4 p.m.

CY’S YOUNGINS – July 7: Chris Young will host kids from the Boys & Girls Club at 5:20 p.m. on the field. Young will invite kids from various branches of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix at a D-backs game during each homestand through August. Young will donate the tickets and provide $10 in D-bucks for each kid to be used on food and beverage options at Chase Field.

TEAM SAUNDO – July 8: D-backs starting pitcher Joe Saunders and his wife Shanel will host 20 kids from Opportunity Through Baseball for a pregame meet and greet on the field. The Saunders will provide the tickets and $10 in D-bucks plus a Team Saundo T-shirt for each of the kids.

ALL-STAR TEACHER RECOGNITION PROGRAM presented by CENTURYLINK: The D-backs and CenturyLink have partnered this season to develop the All-Star Teachers Recognition Program to recognize outstanding Arizona educators. Fans are invited to submit an essay (500 words or less) about an educator that has made a difference in their life. Five winning educators will be recognized before D-backs games this season and each will receive $2,000 courtesy of CenturyLink. D-BACKS BASEBALL ACADEMY YOUTH CLINICS: D-backs Baseball Academy coaches will host two free clinics for kids at Futures Field located in the Sandlot at each D-backs home game starting one hour before first pitch and at the end of the fourth inning.
