Once-In-A-Lifetime Packages Available During Special On-Air Charity Auction Held
During Marlins Vs. Phillies Game Telecast Benefiting The Marlins Education Fund
FOX Sports Florida and the Marlins Foundation will host the 2012 Fantasy Auction, Presented by The Clevelander and Tommy Bahama on Monday, August 13th during FOX Sports Florida’s live telecast as the Marlins host the Philadelphia Phillies.
For the seventh consecutive year, FOX Sports Florida, the exclusive regional television home of the Marlins, will host a special on-air auction giving viewers at home, and at the ballpark, the opportunity to bid on ten once-in-a-lifetime packages beginning at 6:30pm with FOX Sports Florida’s Marlins LIVE pre-game show. Proceeds benefit the Marlins Foundation Education Fund (all donations are tax deductible).

The money raised from this year’s Fantasy Auction will benefit the Marlins Education Fund, which will directly impact several education-focused non-profits in our community," said PJ Loyello, Senior Vice President of Communications and Broadcasting. "This Fantasy Auction would not be possible without our partnership with Fox Sports Florida and together we hope to raise much needed funds for the youth of South Florida."
Tickets to the Fantasy Auction Party are still available online at www.marlins.com/fantasy or by calling (305) 480-2550 and includes a Clevelander game ticket, live bidding with Craig Minervini, a photo opportunity with a Marlins player, gourmet catering and open bar. Ten different “BIG Board” packages will be featured throughout the course of the live telecast (All bids start at $500 per package with $100 increments). Items include:
1. BEST BUY DAVIE WATCH PARTY*: Enjoy an exclusive private Marlins Watch Party, at the Best Buy Davie theatre room, for you and 19 of your friends! This package includes a 55" LED TV, PlayStation 3 and more.
2. REVERSE ROAD TRIP: September 28, 2012 - September 30, 2012: Enjoy a trip to Miami to see the Miami Marlins face the Philadelphia Phillies! This package includes a three (3) night stay at The Clevelander on South Beach as well as various Marlins experiences.
3. ROAD TRIP WITH THE MARLINS: NEW YORK September 21, 2012 - September 23, 2012: Enjoy a trip on the road with the Marlins when they face the New York! Package includes airfare, lodging and tickets to Citi field.
4. GOODYEAR MORE DRIVEN PACKAGE: Enjoy a blimp ride for you and three of your friends with your favorite FS Florida hosts!
5. FIELD OF DREAMS EXPERIENCE*: Here is your opportunity to play on the same field as your favorite Major League players by having friends play a game at Marlins Park! Package includes suite for 22 to a Marlins regular season home game as well as the use of the official Visiting Team’s locker room to get ready for your game.

Finally, a limited amount of Fantasy Auction Pledge Packs, consisting of unique items, are also available for a donation of $150. The package includes: Giancarlo Stanton autographed baseball, Tommy Bahama beach towel, FOX Sports Florida shirt & cap, Josh Johnson Bobblehead, Emilio Bonifacio Lo Viste t-shirt, Marlins hat, MLB network hat and Clevelander Beach Ball. One lucky pledge pack will have a “golden ticket” that includes a photo opportunity with Giancarlo Stanton.
