Ultimate fan experience to live like a big leaguer slated for January 22 – 27, 2013

ATLANTA – The third annual Atlanta Braves Fantasy Camp will be held Jan. 22-27, 2013 at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports, the Braves Spring Training facility, in Kissimmee, FL. The week-long event gives fans of any skill set the chance to live like Major Leaguers, and have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from and play alongside Braves alumni including Javy Lopez, Steve Avery, Sid Bream, Greg McMichael, Greg Olson, Pete Smith, Mike Bielecki, Brad Clontz, Marquis Grissom, Zane Smith, Otis Nixon and many more.

The five-day, five-night camp includes luxury hotel accommodations at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort, Big League clubhouse service and training staff, daily training and skills sessions with alumni, personalized authentic uniforms for games and batting practice, breakfast and lunch, a welcome night party, awards banquet at the conclusion of the fun-filled week and a camp reunion party at a 2013 Braves Opening Weekend home game.

“Atlanta Braves Fantasy Camp is the ultimate experience for our biggest fans to enjoy five baseball-filled days and nights alongside their childhood heroes,” said Greg McMichael, former Atlanta Braves pitcher turned senior advisor of alumni relations and Fantasy Camp coordinator. “This is a great opportunity for fans to live out a dream, suit up in a Braves uniform and play at the same facility the Braves use every spring.”

The Braves Fantasy Camp is open to men and women over the age of 25 and a single roster spot is $3,999. Spouse and family packages are available as well for family members and non-players. For more information and to register for the exclusive experience, please visit www.braves.com/fantasycamp, call 404-614-1526 or email [email protected].
