Tonight's in-game auction raises $219,039.00 for Wounded Warrior Project

ARLINGTON, Texas—The Texas Rangers and Fox Sports Southwest tonight announced that the live auction during tonight’s game telecast raised a total of $219,039.00 for the Wounded Warrior Project.

 

The highest bids were $17,800.00 for the VIP Dallas Cowboys Experience, $13,700.00 for the VIP Visit to FOX NFL Sunday, and $12,901.00 for the VIP Dallas Mavericks Experience.

 

On the 11th anniversary of the tragedy of September 11, 2001, a special on-field pregame presentation honored eight Wounded Warriors in attendance tonight. They are:

 

U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Training Company Jediah DeGreek 

U.S. Navy Second Class Petty Officer Keith Glasgow, Aledo, Texas

U.S. Marines Lance Corporal Tim Horton, Sulphur Springs, Texas

U.S. Marines Hospital Corpsman Rodney Lewallen, Grapevine, Texas

U.S. Marines Artillery Forward Observer Hardy Mills, Fort Worth, Texas

U.S. Army National Guard Artillery Unit Tracey Reep, Wichita Falls, Texas

U.S. Army Cavalry Scout Tim Seckel, Fort Worth, Texas

U.S. Army Sergeant Joe Washam, Justin, Texas (threw out ceremonial first pitch)
