Giants to honor National Little League and Pony League Youth All-Star Champions at AT&T Park

Monday, Sept. 17 - Blossom Valley Pony League All-Stars of San <br />Wednesday, Sept. 19 - Petaluma National Little League All-Stars

The Giants will host two local champions when the team returns for their final regular-season home stand of the 2013 season.  On Monday, Sept. 17, the 2013 Pony Mustang World Series Champions Blossom Valley All-Stars from San Jose will be at AT&T Park, followed on Wednesday, Sept. 19, by the Petaluma Little League All-Stars who finished second in the nation and third in the world in the Little League World Series.

On their respective night, each team will be treated to a field visit, attend batting practice, participate in a home plate ceremony and stay for the game with their friends and family. 

On August 5, the Blossom Valley All-Stars captured the Pony Mustang World Series by defeating Puerto Rico 10-1 in Burleson, Texas.  Blossom Valley became the first Northern California team to win the Mustang Division World Series in 40 years.  They  outscored their  opponents 74-4 in four tournament games.

The Petaluma National Little League squad captured the hearts and support of Northern California and beyond as they earned a spot in the Little League World Series, as the Western Division champions.  The Petaluma All-Stars beat Panama 12-4 on August 26, to win the consolation contest in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
