October NATITUDE Begins Tonight

Nationals’ magic number to clinch NL East Division currently at one

Tonight, the Washington Nationals look to clinch the NL East division for the first time since returning to the District when they face off against the division rival Philadelphia Phillies at 7:05 p.m. at Nationals Park. The potentially historic matchup is the first of three games (October 1 through October 3) that make up the final homestand of the 2012 regular season.

With only three games remaining in this memorable season, Nationals fans are encouraged to show their October NATITUDE by wearing red and plenty of Curly W’s throughout the homestand. This year marks the first time a Washington baseball team has qualified for MLB’s postseason since 1933, when the Washington Senators reached the World Series against the New York Giants.

Be here to witness history and celebrate the start of October baseball. Limited tickets are still available at nationals.com/tickets
