Red Cross to take delivery of new Toyota Tundra

On Monday, Oct. 29 at 10 a.m., the bright red Toyota Tundra truck that has been prominently displayed at Great American Ball Park all season will be delivered to the headquarters of The Greater Cincinnati-Dayton Region of the American Red Cross, compliments of the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers.

“For the third year in a row we’re donating the Tundra from the ballpark to a deserving group of local heroes,” said George Joseph, president of the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Toyota dealers. “And this year we’re giving the truck to the first responders from the local chapter of the American Red Cross.”

“We are so grateful for this donation,” said Trish Smitson, Chief Executive Officer for the American Red Cross. “Toyota’s partnership and support of our local programs and services makes a difference for those who rely on the Red Cross in disasters and other emergencies.”

The Cincinnati-Dayton Region of the American Red Cross headquarters are located at 2111 Dana Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45207.

Attending the event will be:

- George Joseph, President, Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers Advertising Association
- Andrew Gilleland, General Manager, Toyota Motor Sales, Cincinnati Region
- Trish Smitson, CEO of the Greater Cincinnati-Dayton Region of the American Red Cross
- Bill Reinberger, Vice President of Corporate Sales, Cincinnati Reds

In 2010, the Florence Fire & EMS received a Tundra and the Deerfield Township post of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office won a Tundra in 2011.
