Baltimore's Adams suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Baltimore Orioles shortstop Ryan Adams has received a 25-game suspension after testing positive for an Amphetamine in violation of Major League Baseball’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The suspension of Adams, who is currently on the roster of the Triple-A Norfolk Tides of the International League, is effective at the start of next season.  Adams had been a member of the club’s 40-Man Roster at the time the test was administered.
