Cleveland Indians announce 2013 Spring Training schedule

CLEVELAND, OH -- The Cleveland Indians today announced the 2013 Spring Training exhibition schedule at Goodyear Ballpark in Goodyear, AZ. The Spring Training schedule opens with three games in Goodyear Ballpark against the Cincinnati Reds (February 22-24) before traveling to Phoenix to take on the Oakland Athletics (February 25).

The Indians are scheduled to play a total of 36 (17 home/19 road) spring exhibition games in 2013. The Tribe will break from 2013 Spring Training on March 30 and will open the 2013 MLB regular season at the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday, April 2 with Opening Day at Progressive Field taking place on Monday, April 8 vs. the New York Yankees.
